Hello everyone! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here on the blog. It’s been so long, in fact, that I’ve almost forgotten how to put together a post! Almost. I’m back today with this “I Was Made For Sunny Days” free SVG cut file.
The Longest Winter EVER
It has been spring now for 27 days–at least that’s what the calendar tells us. Mother Nature must have gotten lost on her way to Iowa. It has been one snow storm after another. As I’m writing this, I got a text alert from my county emergency management agency to let me know my house is in a winter storm warning beginning at 4:00 am tomorrow. We just had a storm last weekend and the weekend before that. Enough. I’m done!
By now, we would have had some really nice days along with some not so nice ones. It’s usually just enough of a balance that it’s manageable. We’ve maybe had a day or two where the temperature was over 60 degrees. People are crabby. Farmers are itching to get into the field. Our high school boys’ golf team hasn’t had a single meet this year because it’s hard to find white golf balls in the snow. Our track teams have had one or two meets and our girls’ golf team has had one. My daughter’s spring league softball team hasn’t had a single game and we have two games left in the season. I’m throwing the white flag here.
This is obviously going to be one of those years when we go directly from winter to summer.
FREE SVG CUT FILE FOR YOU
I’m a summer kind of gal. I don’t necessarily love the humid days of July and August, but I do love the sunshine and the heat. Right now, that sounds perfect. This free SVG cut file pretty much sums up how I feel.
How do you get this free SVG cut file?
If you’d like to download this free SVG cut file along with many others, you can access it in my Free Resource Library. You will need a password to get in. Sign up using the form below and you’ll receive an email with a password that will let you in. There’s quite a growing collection of free files in there.
You’re probably wondering why I offer free files when I already have my own website where I sell my SVG cut files. I do it simply because I really love to create cut files and it’s also a great way to try before you buy. Side note: I have even more freebies on Crafts You Cut. You just have to go over there and sign up for the newsletter to get the code for your free cut files.
I may not always have the time to put together a nice tutorial here on my blog, but I (almost) always have time to whip up a few files to give away here. If you like my files, please consider pinning the graphic above to your Pinterest board. The more traffic I get on this site just encourages me to make more free cut files and it also helps to offset the expenses of running this blog.
I hope it’s warm and sunny wherever you are!
