When I started my blog in earnest about a year ago, I started it by documenting the progress of our farmhouse renovation. At that time, the name of my blog was Salvaging A Life. I recently made a switch to a different name…and most likely, a more focused approach to what my blog is about. A year later, I sit here with a new focus and a renovation project that still isn’t completed. I refuse to stress and worry about anything though because God’s already there and He has it handled for me. (Matthew 6:34)
I believe we are all created for this very moment. I’ve learned so much in the last year–about home renovation, about blogging, about who I am and what I want. And while sometimes I move through this life feeling like a hot mess, I know that nothing happens by accident.
“I may not be where I want to be, but thank God I am not where I used to be.”
– Joyce Meyer
You can see the progress we’ve made so far….and it’s better than where we were a year ago. 🙂
